Initial Log on to BI Launch Pad Application

To log on to the BI Launch Pad application, you need one of the following browsers installed on your computer: Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox ESR, or Apple Safari.

Use the following URL to access the application: http://WebServer:PortNumber/BOE/BI. Replace WebServer with the name of your SAP BI Platform web server and PortNumber with the correct port number.

In the Username and Password fields, enter your login information. Select Sign in.

Elements of the BI Launch Pad

When you log in to the BI Launch Pad, you see the default user interface.

The Home page of the BI Launch Pad includes these elements:

  • The BI Platform toolbar: Use this toolbar to access tabs such as Home, Favorites, Recent Documents, Recently Run, Applications, and My Tiles.
  • The Global Navigation toolbar: Use this toolbar to access features such as Search, Refresh, Notifications, Web Assistant, and User Settings.
BI Platform toolbar provides navigation tabs, while the Global Navigation toolbar offers search, refresh, notifications, help, and user profile options.
