Managing Virtual Payment Credentials

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to manage Virtual Payment Credentials in Concur Travel.

Introduction to Virtual Payment Credentials

Virtual Payments allow hotel suppliers to manage end-user payments through the Hotel Service API without requiring users to select a payment method during booking.

The TMC must provide the Agency Booking Configuration name as well as the customer account code to the person setting up the Virtual Payment.

In Agency Details, scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Virtual Payment Credentials section and then select Enable Virtual Payment.

nstructional graphic titled “ENABLE VIRTUAL PAYMENT” showing SAP Concur Agency Details. Text explains that Virtual Payments let hotel suppliers manage end‑user payments via the Hotel Service API without requiring a payment method during booking, and that the TMC must provide the Agency Booking Configuration name and customer account code. A dashed arrow connects two UI panels: the left panel shows the Virtual Payment Credentials section with a checkbox labeled “Enable Virtual Payment”; the right panel shows the expanded credentials form after enabling, with fields for API Key, Consumer, Password, Agent ID, and Booker ID, plus the enabled checkbox.

Once you check the box to enable, populate the data in the newly displayed fields (all fields are required):

  • API Key *
  • Consumer *
  • Password *
  • Agent ID *
  • Booker ID *

Note the following:

  • The API credentials must be obtained from Conferma Pay via their SETUP site
  • If a customer was launched prior to this system being available (they are not visible in the SETUP site), then send an email to implementations@conferma.com

    Note

They will need to know the customer name and account code as well as your agency information.
  • Concur Travel credentials must be obtained from the SETUP site to work
