External Tools
You can also use external tools for monitoring and reporting.
You can use any external program that can connect to the ABAP application server using the Information Access Protocol (InA) protocol to carry out analysis and reporting on alerts and alert items.
SAP recommends using SAP Analytics Cloud for reporting on alert data. For more information on setting up a live connection between SAP Analytics Cloud and the SAP Business Integrity Screening application server.
SAP Business Integrity Screening provides ABAP CDS views to give you access to information available on alerts and alert items. The ABAP CDS analytic query views can be consumed by SAP Analytics Cloud using BW Live Connection as the connection type. The ABAP CDS views are as follows:
- Alerts:
- FRA_CV_AA_Alert
- FRA_CV_AA_Alert_Q
- Alert Items:
- FRA_CV_AA_AlertItem
- FRA_CV_AA_AlertItem_Q
Start Ad Hoc Request
You can use Start Ad Hoc Request to display the audit trail for auditing business partner screening or verifying due diligence.
The audit trail or other worklists must be set up in customizing.
For available worklists you need to create a variant in the Manage Worklist Variants app. The worklist variant defines the user specific settings (name, description, fields to be used for filtering, fields to be used for display).

The worklist list variants can be executed using the Start Ad Hoc Requests app.

You need to pick a variant from the list, provide filter criteria (if required) and execute it.

The results are displayed in the app, can be analyzed and depending on the settings, also alerts can be created to start investigation process if required.
