Like many SAP Concur features, Request Assistant is activated by policy.
This enables you to choose what circumstances dictate when the tool can be used. For example, if you have separate policies for travel and non-travel items, you can activate the feature for the travel policy, but not for the non-travel policy. Similarly, if you define your policies by country, you might activate the feature for the UK, but not the U.S. policy.
To activate or deactivate the feature, simply select or clear the Request Cost Estimate Assistant checkbox on the General page when creating or editing a policy.
