Auto Activate and Auto Register

The Auto Activate and Auto Register rules on the SOW Template impact if and when workers can access SAP Fieldglass, either to complete activity items or to submit time and expenses.

The Auto Activate rule ensures that once a work order has been accepted by the supplier, it is automatically activated and the invitation to register is sent to the worker. Buyers will commonly enable this rule for situations where they do not need to control when system access is given to a new worker.

When the Auto Register rule is enabled, SAP Fieldglass will automatically convert the work order into a confirmed worker account without actual login credentials. This rule is typically used for situations where the workers will not be submitting time and expenses in the SAP Fieldglass system directly.

Enable Auto Activate and Auto Register

WorkingNet Networking, Inc., a global manufacturer of data networking equipment, is building several new distribution centers in several countries, while simultaneously implementing new logistics software and processes.

Their first new distribution center is being built in a suburb of Atlanta, so WorkingNet will use the new Atlanta hub as their base of operations. They're going to engage CarryAll Consulting, a logistics design and implementation firm, to both help streamline their logistics processes as well as implement the new software.

WorkingNet has decided that the Logistics SOW Template should have both Auto Activate and Auto Register defaulted to Yes and enabled as selectable rules.

As the SAP Fieldglass administrator for WorkingNet, you need to make the relevant updates to the SOW Template.
