After completing this lesson, you will be able to revise a Work Order for a contingent worker in SAP Fieldglass.

Revising Work Orders

Work Order Revisions are modifications made to the original work order assignment in SAP Fieldglass that can be generated by buyer users for various reasons. Typically, revisions are generated to increase budgetary numbers, update base information such as assignment start/end dates, and any other terms that may need modification for the associated worker assignment.

To revise a work order, select Revise from the Actions dropdown menu in the work order.

You will then be presented with the work order in edit mode. You can make any necessary changes here and select the Continue button to review the changes before saving.

Revise a Work Order

Melanie, the manager of the finance department at WorkingNet Networking, Inc., a global manufacturer of data networking equipment, hired Ryan Matterhorn as an administrative assistant for a six-month period at their Atlanta office. The project Ryan is helping with got extended, so Melanie wants to extend the durations of Ryan’s employment by two months. Along with this extension, Melanie will need to increase the budget and Ryan’s pay rate.
