The first step in creating a Job Posting is to choose the source.
The job posting source can be either:

| 1 | an existing job posting, which is useful if the hiring manager is hiring for a similar position, or |
| 2 | a Job Posting Template, which contains the default values and information fields that appear when a Job Posting is created. A template is created for every conceivable position with the organization that may require a contingent worker, and consists of such information as rates, supplier distribution lists, and specific rules that need to be applied to the position for which a worker is being hired. When a template is selected, that information is loaded into the job posting itself so it does not have to be entered manually. The job posting template drives a multitude of settings and data fields on the Job Posting itself. |
