Scheduling an Interview with a Job Seeker

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to schedule an interview with a job seeker.

Interviewing Job Seekers

Sometimes a buyer accepts a job seeker based solely on the evaluation methods enabled within SAP Fieldglass, such as Ratings and Qualification Scoring or, if enabled, the AI-assisted evaluation functions. But sometimes a buyer wants to evaluate a job seeker using a more traditional method: an interview.

SAP Fieldglass can schedule interviews with submitted Job Seekers. Interview scheduling can be initiated by the hiring manager or the PMO and can reflect multiple types, dates and times to ensure effective collaboration between the Buyer and with the Supplier.

Depending on the tenant configuration, job posting creators can schedule their own interviews, or if the PMO Assisted workflow is configured, the program management office can schedule interviews.

Schedule a Job Seeker Interview

Melanie, the manager of the finance department at WorkingNet Networking, Inc., a global manufacturer of data networking equipment, created a job posting to procure an accounting clerk for a six-month period at their Atlanta office. She has selected to hire some candidates submitted by one of their suppliers, FinanceHire.

WorkingNet has configured the PMO Assisted workflow. That means that Mateo, from WorkingNet's PMO office, will schedule job seeker interviews for Melanie.

Here's how he'll schedule an interview with Gabriel, a potential job seeker.
