The SAP Ariba catalog syndication application runs on the customer’s SAP ERP system and extracts inventory items from Purchase Info Records (PIR) in Ariba CIF format.
Extracted CIF catalogs can be automatically uploaded to Ariba Network, then synchronized to customer’s Ariba catalog, using an automated batch process.

Current Requirements:
- Buyer running SAP ERP and SAP Ariba Catalog applications (Buying, Buying and Invoicing, Ariba Catalogs)
- Syndication is available as a self-service feature using the Ariba Cloud Integration Gateway (CIG)
- Buyer must have a dummy supplier account established on Ariba Network
