With SAP BW/4HANA, some new features have been introduced for the Grouped by extraction property.
- Navigation attributes can be included as key fields for semantic grouping in the same way as other fields.
- Semantic grouping (and therefore also error handling) is also supported for extraction from DataStore objects with warm and cold data.
The data transfer intermediate storage (DTIS) can now be used together with navigation attributes if the source is an InfoProvider and either has an associated InfoObject with navigation attributes or, if it is an ADSO, the property Use Navigational Attributes in Extraction is set. This property must be set for each basic characteristic for which it is to be effective.
