Let's see how to create an approval workflow for journey models in SAP Signavio Process Governance. Before publishing a new revision of your journey model, you can set up an approval workflow and assign participants to review the changes. In this video, we will show you how to create an approval workflow for journey models from scratch. In SAP Signavio Process Governance, open the processes tab. Choose create and select from scratch. Enter a name for the process, then press the Enter key to save it. Under the Trigger tab, choose Process Manager, and then select Journey Model Approval. Click Add a participant to include one or more participants in your approval workflow. For Journey Models, participants are usually the owner and the modeler. Every participant added needs to approve the case. Although it is possible to create a trigger without a participant, we recommend adding at least one. Once the participants are added, a participants tab will appear next to the Trigger tab. In the Participants tab, use the drop-down menu in the data source column to assign a data source to each participant. For Journey Models, you have the option to choose Attribute, a persona derived from the Journey Model, or Ask the User, which connects to dictionary category items with an associated email address. Note that categories with the user Without email addresses are not available here. Dictionary items can be individually selected when you start the approval process from SAP Signavio Process Collaboration Hub. Now you can create the process in the Actions tab. Once you have created the workflow, select the task from the process that requires approval. In the user task window, navigate to general and select a candidate for approval from your list of participants. You can also assign candidates using a role such as a role. as reviewer, when, for example, multiple tasks should be completed by the same person. You can use the task name template field to create a customized name for your tasks. Once ready, confirm by selecting Publish to run this process. Now create your own approval workflow for journey models in SAP Signavio Process Governance. Create a new process from scratch in the Processes tab and assign it a name. Use the Trigger tab to set Journey Model approval and add participants. In the Participants tab, assign data sources using the options, attribute or ask the user. Build your approval workflow in the Actions tab, assigning candidates to the tasks that require approval and finally confirm.
