1. Learner dimensions
Dimension | Description |
| Consumed Certification Attempts | The number of certification attempts consumed by a learner. Value “N/A” is displayed in the following cases: - The SAP Learning Hub contract is based still on legacy license editions but not the new ones; - The customer has a contract with the new license editions, but the learner itself doesn't have a valid license. |
| Country / Region | Country or region associated with the learner’s SAP ID. It is derived from the country of the company that created the SAP ID and is not populated for P-users. |
| Custom (1 – 4) | Free text values added on a learner level by a license manager in the license management tool or via a support ticket, if the tool is not yet in use. |
| Edition End Data | SAP Learning Hub license or contract end date. |
| Edition Start Data | SAP Learning Hub license assignment or contract start date, if the license was not consumed. |
| Last Activity Date | Date of the last learning activity of the learner on SAP Learning Site or Learning Hub Content Library, including practice systems and live sessions. |
| Learner Created Date | Date on which the SAP ID was created. |
| Learner Email | Email address associated with the learner’s SAP ID. |
| Learner ID | SAP ID of the learner. |
| Learner Name | Name associated with the learner’s SAP ID. |
| Learner Status | SAP Learning Hub license status of the learner. Could be: - "Registered”: has currently assigned SAP Learning Hub license. - “Expired”: had a SAP Learning Hub license in the past that expired. |
| Licensed Edition | SAP Learning Hub license edition. |
| Role | The permissions assigned to a person in SAP Learning Hub systems. Could be: - “License Manager”: can manage licenses and custom fields in the license management tool or via a support ticket, if the tool is not yet in use. - “Learning Analyst”: can access the SAP Learning Hub analytics dashboard and export/analyze data. |
| SAP Region | A grouping of the Country / Region, associated with the learner’s SAP ID. |
| Universal ID Country / Region | User country/region from the SAP Universal ID account. The value is maintained by the user. |
| Universal ID SAP Region | A grouping of the Universal ID Country / Region. |
2. Learning activities dimensions
Dimension | Description |
| Activity Date | The date in which a learning activity occurred. A learning activity for a learner is considered completing a lesson or a quiz in a course, attending a live session or using a practice system. |
| Course Type | The type of a course. |
| Latest Status | The most recent status achieved by a learner for a learning object. Possible values are: - “In Progress”: the learner has accessed a course or a learning journey but hasn’t completed all required units, or he has started using a practice system. - “Completed”: the learner finished all required units of a course or a learning journey or attended a live session for the minimum required time. |
| Learning ID | An identifier of a specific SAP learning object. |
| Learning Object Title | Title of a specific learning object (learning journey, course, live session or practice system). |
| Learning Format | Type of a specific learning object. Could be: - Learning journeys - Courses - Live sessions - Practice systems. |
| SAP Product Name | SAP practice system product name. |
| Subject Area (1-3) | The subject area categories that a specific learning object is associated with. |
3. Learning activities measures
Measures | Description |
| Assigned Licences | The number of unique learners with a currently assigned license for the active SAP Learning Hub for contract(s). Learners who have been assigned multiple licenses will be counted only once. The measure reflects the current state irrespective of the selected date range, indicated by the “Filters not applied” note. |
| Av. Estimated Hours | Sum of all estimated hours of learning activities divided by the number of active learners for the selected time range. |
| Estimated Hours | Sum of all estimated hours of the learning activities performed by the learners for the selected date range. Actual time spent is only recorded for practice systems and is displayed in the same measure. |
| Learners | The number of learners who had some learning activity for the selected date range. If the selection for the time interval increases, we can expect a bigger number for the active learners and respectively, if we show a single month, we can expect that it will decrease. |
| Ordered Licenses | The number of SAP Learning Hub licenses purchased by the displayed company according to the currently active contract(s). |
| % of Active Learners | Percentage of the number of distinct learners with at least one learning activity by the number of learners with an assigned license for the selected date range. |
4. Certification dimensions
Dimension | Description |
| Certificate ID | Unique identifier of a certificate, 32-character code. |
| Certificate Actvity Date | The date on which an SAP certification exam was attempted, or a Stay Certified assessment was taken. |
| Certificate Code | SAP certification code that identifies a specific certification. |
| Certificate Exam Results | Result of an attempt conducted by a user on a certification exam. Could be: -“Passed”: indicates that a learner has successfully met the requirements of a certification exam, or a Stay Certified assessment. -“Failed": indicates that a learner has not met the requirements of a certification exam. Failed Stay Certified assessments are not recorded. |
| Certificate Level | The level of certification taken: -“Associate”: entry level certification demonstrating foundational knowledge and skills. - “Professional”: advanced level certification demonstrating deeper expertise and practical experience. - “Specialist”. |
| Certificate Status | The current state of a certificate. Could be: - “Active”: the certificate is valid. - “Expired”: the certificate expired due to missed Stay Certified delta assessment. - “Null”: a certificate was not issued due to a failed exam attempt. |
| Certificate Title | SAP certification title. |
| Company | Customer company name. |
| Company ID | Customer company ID provided by SAP. |
| Competency Relevant | A flag that indicates whether the certificate is relevant for Partner Competency. |
| Compliant UID | Indicates whether a learner has an SAP Universal identifier (UID) and is derived for certifications data: - “Yes”: the certificate is linked to a SAP Universal ID. - “No”: UID set-up still needs to be completed as per instructions here. - “N/A”: in the cases when certification has been retired or will be retired soon, a - certificate can’t be linked to SAP UID. The action point for a learner is to recertify. |
| Deployment Mode | Certification deployment mode. Could be: - “Private”. - "Public”. |
| Due Date Bucket | Non-personalized buckets grouped by calendar days left from current date until the stay current assessment due date. |
| Expiration Date | Expiring date of the SAP certificate. |
| First Certification Date | Date when a certificate was initially issued to a learner after a passed certification exam. |
| Recertification needed | Indicates whether a learner must retake a certification because it was retired or will be retired soon. Could be: -“Yes (manual check needed)”: the certification is or will soon be retired but np recommended alternative is defined; a manual review of the recommendations in SAP Certification: Practical exam overview and status guide"> is needed. - “No”: the learner may remain certified by passing a Stay Certified delta assessment. - “Done”: the learner has successfully obtained a recommended alternative certification. - “Recommended”: the certification will expire in future. |
| Recommended Alternative | The recommended alternative certification to take if the original certification has been retired. |
| S-user Status | The current state of an SAP S-user account: When an S-user is deleted, the certificates of the corresponding user will be removed from the analytics dashboard. However, certification activities such as exam attempts will be still visible in the ‘Explore Data’ and ‘Certifications Data’ Download sections. You can use the dimension to identify learners in the expired phase and are at risk of getting deleted in the next months. |
| Solution Area (1-4) | The solution area categories that a certification is associated with. |
| Test Code | SAP test code that identifies a specific certification exam or Stay Certified assessment. It is usually composed by the certification code and a version indicator. |
| Test Type | The kind of assessment or exam a learner takes: - “Exam”: practical certification exam– either system or scenario based. - “Base”: proctored certification exam. - “Delta”: Stay Certified assessment |
5. Certification measures
Measures | Description |
| Attempts | The number of certification exams attempted in the selected date range (e.g. If a user attempts twice the same certification exam, it will count as two). |
| Certified Learners | The number of learners, identified by an SAP Universal ID with a currently valid certificate. The measure reflects the current state irrespective of the selected date range, indicated by the “Filters not applied” note. |
| Learners | The number of learners with a certification activity for the selected date range. |
| Pass Rate | Percentage of successful certification exam attempts divided by the total number of certification attempts for the selected date range. |
| Stay Certified Due Dates | Count of valid certificates to be renewed by passing a Stay Certified assessment in the respective time frame. |
| Valid Certificates | The number of currently valid certificates held by the learners in scope of the SAP Learning Hub analytics dashboard. The measure reflects the current state irrespective of the selected date range, indicated by the “Filters not applied” note. |
