The SAP Quality Management system allows the user to define custom values for certain fields, such as Code Name and Code Description. These values need to be reflected in the Quality Notification feature of the SAP Business Network. Master Data Synchronization allows for these values to be loaded into the SAP Business Network so that they are in sync with the values in the SAP Quality Management system.
Download the Quality Notification Master Data Template
- From the Description dropdown, select Notification codes
- Choose Download latest template version
The default Quality Notification Master Data template is downloaded.

Update the Quality Notification Master Data File
For each Quality Notification code, the Buyer maintains the following data:
- Name
- Type
- Description
- Language
This is part of the Quality Notification code upload functionality. The file shows a sample of an updated Quality Notification Master Data file.
Upload the Quality Notification Master Data
- Select the file that was updated with new Quality Notification code information.
- Provide a name for the upload.
- Choose Upload
