In this video, we will discuss the supply chain monitor as it relates to order confirmations associated with scheduling agreement releases. We've created a scheduling agreement in advance, and that document is listed here. Today I'm going to share with you a simple way to view a schedule item. Here we'll use transaction code ME33L to view it. And the one we're interested in ends in 2-3. We'll load that scheduling agreement. Here it is with a single line item. When we examine the schedule lines by selecting the line item and going to item delivery schedule, we'll see that there are two schedule lines. One is in the firm zone, one is in the trade-off zone. So the release for this schedule line has already been sent, and we're going to go now to the supplier side of the SAP Business Network and create the order confirmation. Here we are logged in as the supplier on the SAP Business Network, and let's go to this tile where we can see all new orders. And the list of these orders includes this scheduling agreement release ending in 23, so we'll open that. And from here we'll create the order confirmation. We're going to use update line items because we're going to create the order confirmation at the schedule line level. So we give it a number, we're going to use OC dash in the last four digits of the scheduling agreement release and then come down here and confirm based on schedule lines. So we'll press this button and there's only one schedule line that's in the firm zone, so we select that and you'll see that by default the delivery date and the quantity are copied from the schedule line from the scheduling agreement release. We're going to create a deviation and we'll do that by changing the quantity. Today, we'll say that the supplier can only provide six, but they can provide it on the delivery date that was specified. So we've selected that schedule line, we press the Create Status button, and press Next, and Submit. This creates the order confirmation, but because of the deviation, it will be stopped by the supply chain monitor. So let's go over to the buyer side of the SAP Business Network and look at the supply chain monitor. So here we are logged in as the buyer on the SAP Business Network and we'll go to the supply chain monitor on the menu. By default, we see that there are confirmation alerts. We'll click on that, and we see a list of deviations, but these are all associated with purchase orders. So we'll change the filter from orders to scheduling agreements and press the filter button. And this will display the deviations for order confirmations associated with scheduling agreements. And here is the one we just worked on, ending in 23. You can see the confirmed quantity and that there's an alert. We can expand this to see any additional information and then we can choose to either approve or reject this. If we choose to reject it, what happens is the order confirmation is not sent to the buyer but is sent back to the supplier and the status of that scheduling agreement release is set back to new. But we're going to approve this by pressing this approve button and leaving a comment, pressing save, that then accepts the order confirmation as the supplier created and forwards it on to the buyer. So for the final step, let's go back to the SAP system and find that order confirmation. On the SAP system, let's reload the scheduling agreement. We'll use transaction code ME33L. This is our scheduling agreement, ending in 0023. Here's the line item. We'll go to the item menu and select confirmations, overview, and there's the order confirmation that we just created. It shows the original delivery date and the quantity that was specified by the supplier on the order confirmation of 6.
