The Excel Loader is an easy and intuitive way to load and extract data in Territory and Quota. In prior units, you used this feature to import historical transactions and opportunity pipeline data, but you can also use the Excel Loader to import or export any type of data into Territory and Quota. This includes, but is not limited to, organizational data such as participants and positions, accounts, products, and geographies. Each type of data has an associated template that can be downloaded from each workspace. The populated template can then be loaded to the same workspace.

Create an Import Template
Steps
Navigate to the workspace containing the data to load.
Select the Download icon on the toolbar.
Select {File Type} Template.
For example, in the image below we are creating a template to import products, so the selection would be Products Template.
- This will download the template to your default download location, where you can populate the file with data.

Select Upload.
Navigate to the file containing the data to load.
Select Upload Excel Data.
