Setting up Accounts Manually

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to set up accounts manually

Creating Accounts Manually

SAP SuccessFactors Territory and Quota enables you to create a single account or an account hierarchy. An account hierarchy consists of a parent account with child accounts.

Create Accounts

Steps

  1. Navigate to Territory AdminAccounts.

  2. Choose Create () on the right of the Account View header. The Add New Account screen opens.

  3. Add the necessary account details. At a minimum, you must provide a unique Account ID value to add a new account.

    1. For a parent account, leave the Parent field empty. For a child account, select the appropriate parent account from the Parent field.
    2. Blocked From Personal Data Purge: If you enable this option, it will keep this account from being deleted by administrators through the AdministrationData PrivacyPurge Specific Accounts process.
    3. Show Personal Data: If Custom Attributes have been added to your system with PII settings as Sensitive, this flag will display. When you enable this flag, you can view the Custom Attributes data (for example, a Social Security Number field may have been added as a Custom Attribute). Custom attributes and PII data are covered later in this unit.

  4. Click Save to create the account.

    Note

When you create a child account, the effective dates must coincide with the effective dates on the parent account.
