Product Lifecycle Management
As your company plans to implement SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition, you want to learn about more about the SAP S/4HANA Product Lifecycle Management solution.
All products go through a series of activities, or phases: creation, design, development, production, sales, and maintenance. At the end of each phase, companies must decide whether to continue or abandon the process.
Not every product goes through every phase, but SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) supports them all. The following video previews three of the most common phases.
PLM captures data generated as you transform ideas and concepts into actual products, These insights can then inform decisions as you manufacture, sell, customize, improve, and adapt your products to an ever-changing market.
Note
Because the last of these adaptation affects most products at some point, this unit focuses on two PLM features that support adaptation: You’ll see how Change Management and Variant Configuration support employees at a fictitious forklift manufacturer as they perfect their products.
Exercises
This course provides exercises to further enhance your knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Could Public Edition and its functionality and to experience the PLM processes first hand.

The exercises are based on test scripts for the various solution processes, which can be found online using the SAP Signavio Process Navigator. To access the SAP Signavio Process Navigator:

- You can now see a list of all available solution processes.
You can filter them with:
