Purpose:
Contractual Agreement: Entitlements are derived from the contracts that you have with SAP, specifying the available services and plans.
Resource Management: They help allocate and manage resources within your global and subaccounts.

Steps to Create Entitlements
Creating an entitlement involves adding a service plan and configuring specific settings. Here’s a structured approach:
Access Entitlements:
Navigate to Entitlements Section: Log in to the SAP BTP Cockpit and access the global account or subaccount where you want to manage entitlements.
Select Entitlements: Choose the Entitlements tab to begin the configuration process.
Edit Entitlements:
Initiate Edit: Choose the Edit button to modify the current entitlements or add new ones.
Add Service Plan:
Search Service Plan: To add a new service plan, search for the specific service you want to entitle. In this case, search for SAP Profitability and Performance Management (PAPM).
Select Service Plan: Once the service plan appears in the search results, select it to proceed.
Choose from Available Plans:
Default Service Plan: Depending on your needs, you can choose the Default service plan, which is typically used to facilitate communication with external providers through OData services.
Workbook Adapter Plan: If using workbooks or needing external solutions integration, you can also configure the Workbook Adapter plan.
Add Service Plan:
Confirm Service Plan Addition: After selecting the desired plan, choose Add Service Plan to include it in your entitlements.
Configuration Confirmation: Ensure that the service plan has been successfully added and configured for your account.
After this video you will be able to entitle to the SAP Profitability and Performance Management.
