Provisioning for SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to complete the provisioning, login, and initial credential setup required for a successful project.

Access

Following these steps will allow your environment to be provisioned on time:

Step 1 - The IT Contact mentioned in the contract receives a welcome e-mail after the contract start date with key getting-started information.

Step 2 - Log in to SAP for Me and start the provisioning process of your new SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2 solution.

Step 3 - After the provisioning process is completed, the IT Contact mentioned in the Order gets the handover e-mail with the initial user credentials.

Step 4 - After logging in, create an administrator role before performing other tasks. The initial user will be locked after 90 days. For further information, please check this guide: Onboarding Guide for SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 - Creating Administrators.

You can purchase SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2 with different combinations based on your requirements. You can review your entitlements in the sales order, in SAP for Me or by contacting your account executive team.

Tenant

Upon contract start date, an authorized S-user can check and provision the tenants in SAP for Me under the System and Provisioning section. The IT contact mentioned in the contract receives the credentials to log in into the system after successful provisioning.

Contact IT No Longer Valid

Before starting the provisioning process, you need to consult the Onboarding Token in order to change the assigned IT contact. The Onboarding Token can be found on the sales order for your purchase.

Please, note that tokens can only be used once, and within two months from the creation date.
