Within the SAP Fieldglass Configuration Manager self-service dashboard, several tiles are listed reflecting various functions and actions that can be performed by the designated users assigned to the Configuration Manager role. These tiles are grouped within logical categories of action to better help users select appropriate functions for their specific requirements. Within the Implementation category, a tile entitled "Comparison Tool" is an option for Configuration Manager users to select, which can be used hand-in-hand with the Configuration Mover and Company Configuration tile options.

While this course has already described the utilization of these other two functionalities and their impact on establishing a new buyer tenant and configuration, the Comparison Tool tile works seamlessly with the other tiles to ensure that they are utilized in the most efficient and applicable manner.
The Comparison Tool for Configuration Manager users enables the comparison of source and target tenants to identify differences in company configurations and site configurations. Rather than displaying all configurations, the tool specifically highlights the differences between the two tenants. This allows the designated users the ability to perform some due diligence and research prior to utilizing the more complex and highly impactful Configuration Mover functionality. Users can compare their source tenants to SAP Fieldglass GOLD leading practice tenants to determine if they want to use a leading practice as a baseline before importing configuration data. By classifying the source tenant and target tenant appropriately, they can visually see and determine where differences exist between tenants before they plan to migrate applicable configurations between the entities. Users can also audit the Target environment after using Configuration Mover to confirm that all data and settings are pulled over and integrated as expected.
Additionally, users have the option to download the comparison results into a .csv format for further analysis, both before and after executing a Configuration Mover request or updating Company Configuration settings for their target tenant.
