Smart Predict Scenario
Objective
In this exercise, you will create a Smart Predict scenario with the energy price as an influencer.

Creating a Smart Predict Scenario

Click on the Predictive Scenario icon on the left, in the main navigation panel.

Click on the Time Series Forecast tile to create a new Time Series Forecast scenario.

Under My Files, enter the name for your predictive scenario: Predictive Liquidity Planning Then click OK to save it.

Click on the icon to choose a Time Series Data Source model for the predictive scenario.

In the Time Series Data Source window that appears, click on the model you created in the previous exercise: NEW_SAP_FI_CLM_IM_LIQUIDITY_PLANNING
- In the Settings panel on the right, under Predictive Goal make the following selections for the Target:
- Measure: Amount
- Account: Energy Expenses
- Date: Time
- Number of Forecast Periods: 12
- Entity: Company Code & Transaction Currency
- Further down the panel, under Predictive Model Training make the following selections:
- Convert Negative Forecast Values to Zero: Set to ON
- Include As Influencers: Amount & Energy Price / GWh
- Click on the ✓ validation icon to validate that the influencer will be used.
Once the selections are made click the Train & Forecast button.
- Your Smart Predict Scenario is now created! You can now review the results.
