If you don’t want to use the advanced data modeling capabilities of SAP Datasphere, but still want to visualize your manufacturing data in an SAC dashboard, you can integrate your MDOs directly into SAC using OData Service. There you can use the full analytical feature set that SAC offers, going beyond the capabilities of embedded SAC.
The next demo will guide you through the steps required to integrate manufacturing data from SAP Digital Manufacturing directly into SAP Analytics Cloud using the OData Service. You need to perform the three steps of the following:
- Establish Connection: Set up a connection between your SAP DM and SAC instances.
- Create a Data Model: In SAC, build a data model by creating a query that selects the MDOs you want to visualize.
- Design a Story: Use the data model to create a Story in SAC and add charts, tables, and other visual elements to build an interactive dashboard.
