Introduction
DMi offers three distinct applications, along with a fourth app specifically for establishing a live connection and enabling eSAC, as illustrated in the image below. The Order Report and SFC Report are categorized as operational reports, while Manage Dashboards serves as the interface for eSAC. The Initialize Embedded Analytics app can be used to set up a live connection and to activate eSAC.
In this lesson, the Order Report, SFC Report, and Manage Dashboards applications will be briefly introduced. Additional details about these apps are covered in the DM2000 training.

Order Report
The Order Report serves the purpose of providing comprehensive order-related information, as depicted in the image below. This application offers a range of key features, including the display of essential order details such as order numbers, materials, and Shop Floor Control (SFC) numbers. It provides quantitative data, including quantities and progress, as well as temporal information like schedules. Additionally, the Order Report presents the current status of orders, ensuring users have access to all critical insights in one place.

SFC Report
The SFC Report is designed to provide detailed information on SFCs (for discrete manufacturing) or Charges (for process manufacturing) within orders, as illustrated in the image below. Key features of this application include the presentation of SFC/Charge data, alongside detailed information such as the Production Log, Data Collection, Components, and Nonconformances.

Manage Dashboards
The Manage Dashboards app serves as the primary interface for leveraging the embedded SAP Analytics Cloud (eSAC) within SAP Digital Manufacturing. By default, this app is not activated and must be enabled before it can be used. The activation process is explained in Unit 2, Lesson 1. When activated, the app allows you to create, view and modify dashboards.
As an embedded version of SAP Analytics Cloud, eSAC provides advanced visualization capabilities by utilizing Manufacturing Data Objects (MDOs). With eSAC, you can design meaningful and interactive dashboards using a variety of visual tools, such as charts and tables, as illustrated in the image below.
