Running Reports on Clauses

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to review reports related to the Clause Library.

Clause Reports

SAP Ariba Contracts offers administrators the option to report on clause usage throughout the organization. A user with access to the Prepackaged Reports area can run the Contract Clause Usage and the Contract Clause Usage Modifications reports. The reporting data field in both instances is Clause Count. When refining data the following hierarchies can be added:

  • Created Date
  • Folder
  • Load Create Time
  • Load Update Time
  • Modified
  • Project
  • Source System
  • Title
  • Type

Contract Clause Usage Report

This report lists clause usage by contract workspace and agreement. Its purpose is to help you determine if your clauses are effective and utilized.

Contract Clause Usage Modifications

This report lists contract clauses and how they were used, as either Preferred, Approved or Modified clauses. It helps you gain visibility into how effective your Clause Library is based on the types and trends of usage. For example, if you see that a particular clause is frequently modified, you can update the clause in the Clause Library as necessary so users will no longer feel the need to modify it.
