Reporting on Ad Hoc Parameters

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to describe ad hoc reports.

Ad Hoc Reports in Recruiting

Ad Hoc reports can be used to create data pulls and flat file exports in Excel, PDF or PPT format.

Data on forwarded candidates is not reportable until the candidate applies to the job.

Note

Recruiting users cannot schedule regular report runs themselves and must contact Professional Services or Customer Success for enablement of this feature.

Available standard reports include the following:

  • Cost per Hire
  • Current Candidate Pipeline
  • EEO/OFCCP
  • Employee Referral
  • Requisition Report
  • Requisition Status Report
  • Source Report
  • Time to Fill
  • Vets Report

Note

The standard ad hoc reports must be imported. Talk to your consultants to learn more about standard reports.

Recruiting V2

Recruiting V2 is a report schema that provides the user full access to all Recruiting data. A user with create access to this reporting capability can put together a report with any columns from any folder and view all data in the results.

In general, this level of access would only be granted to an administrator, or to recruiters where a relaxed data access policy within the recruiting department exists.

This reporting schema is unlikely to be used for Hiring Managers, although some companies do grant Run privileges to this schema for Hiring Managers and then only Share reports to those hiring managers where there are pre-defined filters built into the report to restrict their data results.

Recruiting V2 Secured

Recruiting V2 is a report schema similar to Recruiting V2 but with an extra layer of security.

V2 secured reports have a Requisitions option that forces the user to refine the criteria and select the relationship to the data returned. For example, you can show the data where a specific Hiring Manager or Recruiter is the contact ("Show me data where I am the..."). Because of this extra security, companies more frequently distribute this level of reporting access to their end users. There is also an option on the Requisitions pill for Detailed Requisition Filters.
