Activating Time Sheet Functionality

The basic Time Sheet that is available as part of Employee Central can be activated by going to Admin Center→Manage Employee Central Settings→Time and Attendance Management→Time Sheet. Note that it can only be activated if also Time Off is enabled. Time Tracking must be enabled in Provisioning as it requires a separate license.

For Time and Attendance Management, only the three following combinations of activation settings are supported:

• Activate Time Off (Time Off for Leave of Absence Only & Time Sheet are inactive.)

• Activate Time Off and Time Sheet (Time Off for Leave of Absence Only is inactive.)

• Activate Time Off and Time Off for Leave of Absence Only (Time Sheet is inactive.)

It is not possible to activate Time Off for Leave of Absence Only and Time Sheet together. Time Sheet is only activated with Time Off.

Note

A customer doesn't have access to Provisioning. To complete tasks in Provisioning, customers need to ask an implementation partner. If they are no longer working with an implementation partner, they need to contact Product Support.

• Time Sheet is activated in Admin Center→Manage Employee Central Settings→Time and Attendance Management. It can only be activated if Time Off is already enabled.
• Time Tracking requires a separate license and must be enabled in Provisioning. Customers cannot do this themselves and need an implementation partner or SAP Product Support.
• Only three supported activation combinations exist: Time Off only; Time Off and Time Sheet; or Time Off and Time Off for Leave of Absence Only. Time Off for Leave of Absence Only and Time Sheet cannot be activated together.
