Building blocks of the service solution

The SAP S/4HANA Cloud - Service solution supports the core business processes that you can find in a company in the area of Service Management. It consists of several building blocks (also called 'scope items'). Some of these building blocks are more administrative in nature (called Administrative ERP here) and others are more operational in nature (called Operational ERP here).

Within the Best Practices that SAP has defined for SAP S/4HANA Cloud (see and search for SAP S/4HANA Cloud), the scope items for the Service solution have been clustered into two main scope item groups. These are called Service Master Data & Agreement Management and Service Operations & Processes. The figure Building Blocks of the Solution shows which scope item belongs to which group.
