Mapping the Objects of the Bike Company to the Enterprise Structures in SAP S/4HANA

Welcome to Lesson 3

Now that we understand the requirements of the Bike Company regarding the structures and the used enterprise structures in SAP S/4HANA we need to map them.

We will look at the enterprise structures from the previous lesson and combine them with Ivan’s notes from his interviews with the Heads of Departments. This will give us a picture of the Bike Company that we can model in the Customizing of the SAP S/4HANA System. We will reuse these structures in future lessons and the business processes.

To map the requirements or statements of the departments to the enterprise structures used on SAP S/4HANA we will go through the notes taken during the interviews. We will align the notes with the terms used in the SAP S/4HANA applications.

Now that we have defined the necessary enterprise structures for the Bike Company, we will take a closer look towards the usage and impact of the enterprise structures for master data and transactional data in the next lesson.
