How Customers Access SAP Sales Cloud Version 2
Customers and Partners can easily get access to SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 by following the provided guidelines from the Onboarding procedure available on the SAP Help Portal
The only prerequisites are:
- to have a valid license for SAP Sales Cloud Version 2
- to have a valid SAP user ID or S-User ID that allow to access and navigate the SAP For Me portal, which is the entry point where customers can handle accesses and subscriptions to their purchased SAP solutions and more
Customers with a valid license for SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 and with an S-user-ID have to access the SAP for ME portal to start the procedure for the system Provisioning.
- Once the procedure is completed, the IT Contact indicated in the purchase order for the solution, will get the Handover Mail with initial user credentials. This is valid for 90 days and can be used to set up the admin users in the tenant.
- With the initial user included in the Handover Mail, the IT Contact has to access the SAP Sales Cloud Version 2 tenant and create an administrator who will further create users and roles in the system. The initial user is locked after 90 days, so creating an administrator is an important step that your initial user must perform.
With the provided credentials, the administrator can use the Logon Page for accessing the system
After following the onboarding procedure, customers will receive the onboarding email containing the following:
- the tenant URL
- the administrator user ID
- and the initial password that must be changed after the first access

Accessing SAP Sales Version 2 through the Logon Page
Default Home Page
Administrators can:
- adapt the background image of the Home Page
- choose some default options
- or upload a custom image that is more compliant with their company branding
After logging in, the Home Page will display the preconfigured business cards.
The following cards can be displayed on the Home Page:
- Greeting Card: Shows a greeting message to the user along with the current date, and the weather condition
- Message Card: Shows messages for the business users
- News Card: Displays news one after the other based on the RSS feeds
- Video Thumbnail Card: Appears on the home page with the pre-delivered video thumbnail
- Quick Links Card: Serves as a launch pad for different quick create pages within the solution. Quick links card on home page shows the object icons and the object names that help you to navigate.
- Learning Content Card: A list of five useful articles that help you understand the solution.
- Video Dashboard Card: A list of five useful videos that help you understand the solution.
