In this lesson we will discuss the foundational structure of pay. As you may have seen in the previous session on the HR Organization Structure, Pay Structure is one of the four key structures that make up the foundation of the system. Pay Structure identifies the elements that define what and when your employees get paid to do their job. These elements, referred to as objects in the system, allow you to store tables of pay-related data, including Pay Components, Pay Groups, and information related to payroll calendars.
