Adopting SAP Sustainability Data Exchange in SAP BTP

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to provision SAP Sustainability Data Exchange in SAP BTP cockpit.

Overview

Here, you will learn the process of acquiring and setting up SAP Sustainability Data Exchange within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) cockpit.

However, before you can deploy SAP Sustainability Data Exchange, you need to acquire a license. This is done through the SAP Store, which is SAP's online marketplace for software and services.

Purchase SAP Sustainability Data Exchange in SAP Store

Purchase SAP Sustainability Data Exchange

To use SAP Sustainability Data Exchange, you need to purchase the application from the SAP store. Follow the steps to place a purchase order for SAP Sustainability Data Exchange in the SAP store.

  1. To place a purchase order for SAP Sustainability Data Exchange, you need to activate your SAP store account. Once done, fill in some basic information about your company, such as country, organization name and organization address.     Note

    The license is automatically renewed so the duration can stay set up to default option, i.e., 12 months. Start date is automatically populated with the actual date.

    Note

    Review Terms and Conditions before submitting the order.
  4. Select Invoice.
  5. Validate auto-populated billing details.
  6. Add TAX information.

    Note

    You need to select one of the payment options even though the license cost is zero.

    Note

    Review Terms and Conditions before submitting the order (if not done in previous steps). PO-Number field can be left empty.
  9. You will see the order number (SAP Store ID) on the screen once successfully created. The image shows Order confirmation page from SAP Store for a free, auto-renewal SAP Sustainability Data Exchange membership, valid for one year.
  10. As a next step, you will receive following emails: - Order confirmation (Email B) - S-User ID activation (Email C) - SDX account activation (Email D) - SDX account access information (Email E)
