Log on to the SAP BTP Cockpit Using an SAP BTP Account
To log on to your SAP BTP enterprise account you need to select, depending on your geographical location, one of the following URLs:

Log on to Your SAP BTP Enterprise Edition Account
It isn't possible to create an SAP HANA Cloud trial database in your enterprise SAP Business Technology Platform account. To be able to setup a test SAP HANA Cloud database instance to gain hands-on experience, you can add the SAP HANA Cloud free tier service plans to your account. The free tier service plans available for SAP HANA Cloud are:
- relational-data-lake-free
- hana-free
- hana-cloud-connection-free
Resource Restrictions for the Free Tier Service Plans for an SAP HANA Cloud Account
The free tier service plans for SAP HANA Cloud provides you with the following features:
- You can create one SAP HANA Cloud, SAP HANA database instance with 32GB ram, 2 vCPUs and 120GB storage.
- Your SAP HANA Cloud instance is stopped on a daily basis around midnight.
- You can connect a SAP HANA Cloud, Data Lake to the SAP HANA Cloud instance with 32GB ram, 4 vCPUs and 900 GB storage.
- Your SAP HANA Cloud, Data Lake is stopped on a daily basis around midnight.
- You have 30 days to restart your instance or it will be deleted.
- You can perform SAP HANA Cloud database administration tasks using the SAP HANA cockpit and the SAP HANA database explorer attached to your instance.
Log on to the SAP BTP Cockpit Using an SAP BTP Trial Account
To use an SAP HANA Cloud trial account, you need to sign in using the URL: https://account.hanatrial.ondemand.com/trial/#/home/trial
On the SAP BTP Trial landing page. Select the Go To Your Trial Account button, and sign in to your SAP ID service account.
On the SAP BTP Trial landing page, you'll find many tutorials on how to navigate and use the SAP Business Technology Platform.
The SAP HANA Cloud trial account has a 90 days lifespan. An inactive account will be suspended after 30 days. After 90 days, the SAP HANA Cloud and all the content you've created will be deleted.Resource Restrictions in an SAP HANA Cloud Trial Account
The SAP HANA Cloud trial provides you with the following features:
- You can create one SAP HANA Cloud, SAP HANA database instance with 16GB ram, 1 vCPUs and 80GB storage.
- Your SAP HANA Cloud instance is stopped on a daily basis around midnight.
- You can connect a SAP HANA Cloud, Data Lake to the SAP HANA Cloud instance with 32GB ram, 4 vCPUs and 256 GB storage.
- Your SAP HANA Cloud, Data Lake is stopped on a daily basis around midnight.
- You can perform SAP HANA Cloud database administration tasks using the SAP HANA cockpit and the SAP HANA database explorer attached to your instance.
