Cloning Test Users

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to clone active test users.

Clone Active Test Users Overview

The Clone Active Test Users feature allows you to quickly duplicate existing test user accounts. By using this feature, you can create new test users with the same roles, permissions, and settings as an active test user, making it easier to simulate different scenarios and streamline testing processes within your Concur environment.

The image displays a form to clone test users from existing employees. It shows a text field labeled “Test User to Clone” and a numeric field labeled “Number of Cloned Users to Create (Maximum 50).” The highlighted Clone Test Users button appears below the fields.

Clone Active Test Users

To clone a test user:

Steps

  1. From the Test User Admin page, locate and select the active user you want to clone from and the number of test users required. Select Clone.

The image displays a Test User Admin page. The Test User Setting section shows the checkbox “Allow creation and use of test users” selected, with Save and Cancel buttons. The highlighted clone section shows “Test User to Clone” filled with “User, Johnny,” “Number of Cloned Users to Create (Maximum 50)” set to 2, and a Clone Test Users button.
  2. In User Administration, enter the required details for the new test user account and then select Save.

The image displays a General Settings page for a user. It shows fields for login name, password, first name, last name, email address, activation date, termination date, and employee ID. The Expense and Invoice Settings section is visible with “Is a Test User?” checked, travel rule class set to Default Travel Class, country of residence set to Mexico, reimbursement currency set to Mexico, Peso, invoice group set to Invoice Main, company set to Mexico, department set to Sales, and cost center set to Large Market. The highlighted Save button appears at the bottom, next to Save and New and Cancel.
