Personalized Search

Deliver enhanced search capabilities with the Personalized Search feature.

This functionality displays search results based on each user's browsing history, offering tailored suggestions to match user's interests.

Use a dedicated interface to activate this feature and adjust personalization settings for a seamless shopping journey. For more information, see Personalized Search.

The feature works with Search Service. For more details, see About Search Service.

Note

This feature requires SAP Commerce Cloud version 2211.38 or later and transition to Identity Authentication Service. Refer to Migration Guide for Switching to Identity Authentication Service for detailed instructions.

Why?

Enabling Personalized Search feature enhances the user experience by providing personalized search results, which in turn improves customer retention and boosts conversion rates.

Authorization through SAP Cloud Identity Services (SCI)

Authorization through SAP Cloud Identity Services is now available in Intelligent Selling Services.

The authorization is based on the validation of tokens issued by the Identity Authorization Service (IAS) system. It enables centralized management of user to user and user to system communications.

The current Intelligent Selling Services integration remains unaffected, but existing customers can migrate to the new solution. For the migration instructions, see Migration Guide for Switching to Identity Authentication Service.

Note

To access IAS-specific content in the product documentation, select the Identity Authentication Service (IAS) filter from the Authentication Type dropdown menu at the top of the page, where applicable.

Why?

This development harmonizes user management across SAP Commerce Cloud and Intelligent Selling Services, eliminating duplicate actions and streamlining operations for businesses.

User Settings

Configure your preferences in the new User Settings screen available in the Intelligent Selling Services application.

Click the User Menu icon in the top right corner and select Settings to view your account details and adjust your settings related to the application's appearance, as well as region and date formatting.

Trending Search Terms Preview

Discover the new Trending Search Terms Preview available in Trending Search Terms UI.

With this functionality, you can now see the list of trending search terms directly in the Intelligent Selling Services business tooling before displaying them on your store's website.
