Create the configuration of a shopping agent for your commerce storefront to recommend products to your customers and answer their questions.
You can test your Shopping Agent in the playground when configuring it. The playground allows you to validate the agent's behaviors and responses before it's enabled on the storefront for customers.

Document and Media Support for Shopping Agent
Shopping Agent can process unstructured data in various formats. You provide this data in SAP Commerce Cloud which becomes part of the agent's knowledge base.
The data that the Shopping Agent has access to and understand can come in various media files and document formats. For example, you can include PDFs of your product specifications, and the Shopping Agent can answer questions from customers based on this knowledge. These products or catalogs must be attached to data available in SAP Commerce Cloud. The following documents and media files are accepted:

- .pptx | .docx | .xlsx
- .csv
- .txt | .text
To use it with the Shopping Agent, you can upload media type attachments to the products in SAP Commerce Cloud.
Product Availability for Shopping Agent Configurable in SAP CX AI Toolkit
You can now configure product availability in the Agent Settings of the Shopping Agent. The capability was previously only available in the Shopping Agent API.

Product Visibility by Attributes for Shopping Agent
The Shopping Agent can tailor recommendations by filtering your SAP Commerce Cloud inventory based on attributes. For example, you can filter products by region to only show products available in the customer's region. This feature ensures that customers see and engage with the relevant products.

Activating Shopping Agent Capabilities Using Subagents
The Shopping Agent offers many capabilities that you can activate as subagents. They allow the agent to handle specific questions and tasks for your customers.
- Product Availability for Shopping Agent
- Shopping Agent now returns information about product availability from SAP Commerce Cloud when asked about quantities. It can also perform actions like adding a specific quantity to a cart, depending on its configuration. This new capability can be activated in the Shopping Agent API.
- Order Status for Shopping Agent
Customers can now ask the Shopping Agent to retrieve information about their orders, reducing the number of requests for customer service. This new capability can be activated in the Agent Settings or in the Shopping Agent API.
- Tracking in Order Status for Shopping Agent
- Tracking information from SAP Commerce Cloud, such as the status and ID, is now included in the order status capability of the Shopping Agent. This added information provides a convenient and transparent way for customers to track their orders.
- Configuration of the Digital Service Agent in the Shopping Agent
- Configure the Digital Service Agent in the Agent Settings of the Shopping Agent to combine the functionalities of the two agents. This capability enhances customer service by ensuring accurate responses to distinct customer inquiries, improving the overall user experience.
- Add to Cart for Shopping Agent
Customers can now ask the Shopping Agent to add a product to their cart for a more seamless shopping experience. This new capability can be activated in the Agent Settings or in the Shopping Agent API.
