Running Your SAP S/4HANA Transformation Project with Readiness Check

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to explain the role of SAP Readiness Check in evaluating your existing landscape for a transformation journey.

What is the SAP Readiness Check?

SAP Readiness Check analyzes your existing system using built-in APIs, which may need to be updated to ensure the most up-to-date analysis tools are implemented. Each supported scenario provides its own central SAP Note, which guides you through the preparation steps required for the specific scenario. The preparation steps should be initially completed in the development system and then transported through to the production system. SAP recommends running SAP Readiness Check tools in the production system to get an accurate picture of actual system usage.

SAP Readiness Check is available to you on SAP for Me and on your private SAP Cloud ALM tenant.

Let’s look at the role of SAP Readiness Check for an SAP S/4HANA transformation in the following video.
