How to get certified with SAP Certification?

Purchase a subscription

In order to get certified, you need to purchase SAP Certification exam attempts. You can subscribe to SAP Learning Hub  or SAP Learning Hub, partner edition and get four certification exams included in your subscription. With these subscriptions you also have access to all enablement and assessments to stay certified and keep your certifications valid.

Schedule an SAP Certification exam

As soon as you receive confirmation of your subscription, you will be able to schedule an SAP Certification exam.
- Log via the SAP Learning site.
You can either use your SAP user ID or your email address to log in.
- At the time of your appointment, browse SAP Certifications,
- select the certification you want to take and press “Schedule”. 
- That will single-sign you into the Certification Hub.
Browse to the Exam Appointments menu to start your exam.

Access the Exam Dashboard

You will be directed to the Certification Hub where you will be able to schedule your exam. When clicking "Exam Dashboard", you can view your exam results and any remaining attempts within your subscription. To schedule a new appointment, click "Schedule an exam".

Select the right certification

Review the available exams listed in the menu. Find the right certification and click on the blue calendar icon to schedule-your-exam. We suggest you schedule your exam far enough in advance (2-3 hours) to allow you to test your equipment and get your identification documents ready.

Find a suitable exam date and time

Find a suitable exam date and time. Make sure to select the correct time zone before saving. If no time zone is chosen, your appointment will be automatically set to "UTC".

Reschedule your exam

Scheduled exams appear under "Exam Appointments". If you wish to re-schedule, please delete the appointment first. Please return to step 5 to set up a new appointment.

Receive a confirmation email

After your appointment is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation email from donotreply@examity.com. Please read the email carefully to ensure details are correct. If any details are incorrect, or you have any questions or concerns, please contact your local SAP representative (visit the contact page at SAP Training Shop). Please make sure to provide your order number to the specialist handling your query. This can be found in the Order Summary section or My Account section of SAP Training Shop:

Ensure your computer is ready for exam day

Ensure you have the following equipment in place before taking your exam:

  • Questionmark Secure browser (must be downloaded and installed)
  • Webcam
  • Microphone or headset
  • Broadband connection (at least 2 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload)

Prepare your equipment and test your system at least 2-3 hours in advance of taking your exam.

Start your exam

To start your exam, click the "Start Exam" link from the Exam Appointments page on SAP Certification Hub. Please have your identification ready.

If you do not see the link 15-10 minutes prior to starting the exam after performing the above 3 steps, please contact Questionmark support via Live Chat and they will directly assist.
Proctors will help you when they are checking your environment.

Checking your exam environment

The proctor will check your exam environment prior to releasing the exam.
Please ensure that:

  • You are alone in the room and will not be disturbed during your exam
  • The table or desk is cleared of any materials
  • The room is quiet
  • Your cell phone is switched off and stowed out of sight
  • Any desk phones are disconnected or blocked from incoming calls

Finish your exam

Once you have completed your exam, click on “submit”. If the exam timer runs out before you click “submit”, the proctor will stop the exam.

Failed your exam?

You can take an SAP Certification exam up to three (3) times. If you do not pass an exam after three (3) attempts, you will need to re-register for the next release of the exam. If you do not pass the next release after three (3) attempts, you will not be able to retake the exam until the next edition is released, normally within 1 year.
