The work in Cloud Integration is organized into packages that contain integration flows and additional supporting content, such as Value Mappings or Script Collections. You can browse pre-delivered packages either in your Cloud Integration tenant's Discover view or in the SAP Business Accelerator Hub on api.sap.com.
To use the content of a pre-delivered integration package, you need to copy it to your Cloud Integration tenant, where you can then access it from the Design view.
This lesson is about copying and preparing the pre-delivered integration package relevant to this course. It lays the foundation for later lessons, where only the lesson-specific integration flows will be configured and deployed.
Copy the Integration Package
In the Discover view, search for the package SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2 Integration for Master Data with SAP S/4HANA.
Hint: Pay close attention to the exact package name, as there are other integration packages with similar names! Ensure you select the one labeled SAP S/4HANA without the Cloud Public Edition suffix.
Note
Please note that although the package name indicates SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2, it only contains integration content for Version 2. It is not compatible with SAP Sales Cloud (Version 1).
Select the button in the upper right corner to copy the integration package to your Cloud Integration workspace.
Content of the Integration Package
The SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2 Integration for Master Data with SAP S/4HANA integration package includes several artifacts, which can be categorized into three groups:
- Integration Flows: Most integration flows receive data from a single system, transform and process it, and send it to the target system. Some integration flows are timer-based, fetch code list data from SAP S/4HANA and the cloud CRM, compare them, and update the necessary code list values in the cloud CRM.
- Value Mapping: A way to translate values between different formats or systems used by integration flows. Don’t confuse this with the Value Mapping for Code List values inside SAP Sales and Service Cloud Version 2!
- Script Collection: Includes reusable script sets, mostly Groovy scripts, primarily used by code list replication integration flows.
Further Preparation Steps – Script Collection
Some integration flows use scripts from this collection. Without deploying the script collection, the integration flows won't work. That's why we deploy the script collection as preparation for later lessons.
Navigate to the previously copied package in the Design view, find the script collection, and deploy it as demonstrated in the following screenshot. This task does not require any additional configuration steps.
