Introduction to Dashboard

Jenny is responsible for maintaining dashboard templates for the company. Jenny needs to create a new dashboard template for a specific user group.

Dashboards provide a customizable interface that allows users to easily access tasks, documents, and other content.

Let’s have a look at Jenny’s dashboard in SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing.

Select each number icons to explore the options on the dashboard.

Now, we will look into what is called a dashboard template.

The dashboard for new users is created from a dashboard template.

The template determines the dashboard tabs, content items, and layout of the dashboard.

Your configuration includes a default dashboard template. All user dashboards are initially based on this template.

Users can customize their own dashboards, but must follow template rules (For example: Users cannot remove tiles that are configured as required).

To access the dashboard templates task, navigate to Manage ＞ Administration ＞ Dashboard Manager ＞ Dashboard Templates.
