What is Two-Factor Authentication?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a security enhancement that adds a second layer of identity verification when signing in (above and beyond basic authentication with a username and password). 2FA is typically done by sending a text message to the associated cellphone or email with a code that must be entered on the website to verify that the person signing in is the correct authorized user. 2FA is a part of broader Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), which uses two or more methods to confirm a user's identity.

Why is SAP Concur using Two-Factor Authentication?

To enhance the sign in security of all SAP Concur users, two-factor authentication (2FA) is required to sign in to www.concursolutions.com since October 18, 2023. All users signing in on the web or mobile app must set up 2FA by providing an acceptable method of 2FA, such as their cellphone, the first time they use SAP Concur.
