Labor Management Attributes

The LM Attributes tab contains Labor Management-specific information. The Supply Chain Unit delivers the information about the time zone the processor is working in, and is used for performance documents. The HR System Name defines the system name, which enables HR-specific data to be transmitted from Labor Management to the relevant HR system. The Warehouse Number defines the way in which warehouses the processor can be used (so it is a mandatory entry).
The Labor Factor can be used to rate the work of a processor for performance documents. In the standard system, the labor factor is not evaluated. You can use the field by implementing the BAdI /SCWM/EX_LM_BASICS_EPD_AMCALC.
The Processor Type, the Reporting Group and the Work Category entries are optional, and are used for classification and reporting purposes. The Service Start Date is the date on which a processor began to work in the department or warehouse area. You can use this date to calculate the processor's experience in the department or warehouse area. The service start date is not necessarily the date the processor started to work for the company.
For example, a processor starts to work in the company working in one warehouse. Three years later, the processor moves to another warehouse in the same company. The processor's service start date is now the date when he or she started at the second warehouse, because that work is different and the processor's experience does not necessarily transfer over.
The Standard Activity Area, the Standard Processing Step, and the External Steps with the Performance Level are used for planning. Through an implementation of the BAdI /SCWM/EX_LM_BASICS_EPD_AMCALC, the performance levels can also be used to calculate the result in the performance document for individual steps. You only define a performance level if it is different to the standard performance level of 100%. The performance level must be greater than 0.
Summary
- Processors are relevant for all processes in the warehouse for which you have activated Labor Management. A processor is a person who operates a vehicle or other resource, but, of course, can also be on foot. The processor is defined as a business partner with the role Processor (LM0001). This role contains specific information for the use of the processor in Labor Management.
- If you use mobile devices, the begin and end times of your warehouse processes are automatically stored in the system. When users log on to a mobile device as a resource, they do not use their processor IDs, but their user IDs. Through the user ID in the processor master, the system can find the processor for this user automatically.
- The LM Attributes tab in the processor master record contains Labor Management-specific information, like the Supply Chain Unit, the Processor Type, the Reporting Group, and the Work Category.
