Updating User Permissions

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to assign and remove User Permissions in Company Administration for Concur Travel.

How to Update User Permissions

There are four ways to assign User Permissions by:

  • Permissions (available only when configuration has less than 2500 profiles)
  • Groups
  • Rule Classes
  • Users

The process looks the same for each of these options, however there are some things to note for each specific option.

Some considerations to be mindful of when assigning permissions:

  • To assign permissions by a group, you must create the group first in Company Groups
  • When you assign a permission to a rule class, all employees that belong to the rule class inherit that permission
  • When you assign permissions by user, the system will show permissions that are currently assigned to the user directly or by groups and rule classes to which the user belongs to
