Accessing Course Simulations for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, Warehouse Management

Objective

After completing this lesson, you will be able to use simulations to familiarize yourself with apps and process flows in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, warehouse management.

Reference to All Simulations Used in This E-Learning

For your reference, you will find a list of all simulations that show you how to configure and navigate in warehouse management for SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition in this lesson. Using simulations, you can experience the solution's look and feel and explore the supported business processes. The simulations serve as an entry point for the exercises that you can do by yourself in the SAP Learning System Access, where you can explore the features and functions in-depth.

Diagram of the practice system exercises included in this course. The exercises are organized into progressive categories, and many build on previous ones. The categories are configuration tasks, master data tasks, goods receipt, internal warehouse activities, and goods issue. In the configuration and master data categories are the exercises, Configure Warehouse Management and Maintain Warehouse Management Master Data. In Goods Receipt, the exercises are Create Internal Warehouse Stock, Run Warehouse Inbound Processes, and Run Quality Management in Warehousing Processes. In the Internal Warehouse Activities category are Run Warehouse Internal Inspection, Run the Posting Changes Process, Run the Replenishment in Warehousing Process, and Run the Kanban Supply into Production Process. In the Goods issue category are the exercises Run the Warehouse Outbound Process and Run the Warehouse Ad Hoc Goods Issue Process.

The exercises cover different topics or areas, such as configuration, master data, and so on. There is no need to execute all exercises or check all simulations. However, some exercises build on others, and the figure Flow of Exercises illustrates these dependencies. For example, to pick products for running the warehouse outbound process, you should have created initial stock upfront or processed the warehouse inbound process before. The available simulations do not match these exercises one-to-one, but follow a similar structure.

Be advised that the label Exercise used across all embedded simulations is not meant to experience the full content of the several end-to-end exercises offered to you via SAP Learning System Access, but is used because the simulation is provided to you in Practice mode, meaning to provide you a kind of hands-on exercise learning experience, while working with the E-Learning content only.

Note

It is not intended that you navigate through all simulations at this point in the training. The individual simulations are referenced again in those parts of the training where they fit best. This is only a reference, in case you want to return to any simulation and need a central point of entry.
