Creating Content within Event Templates
The Content tab enables you to create certain content elements that appear in every project that uses the template.
Content elements you create on the Content tab are common to every project and can include:
- Section
- Question
- Requirement
- Attachment
- Cost Terms
- Formula
- Content From Library
Although most content is specific to each event, some questions and specifications may be common to many events of this type. Some common questions might include whether the company is an equal opportunity employer, minority-owned, or willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
It is also recommended to export the content and import it into the Sourcing library as a content document, so that it can be easily inserted into projects that are not using the template.
Note that items or lots are not included because templates can't contain specific items or lots. Pricing content, such as line items and lots, is best stored within the Sourcing Library so that it can be easily copied into projects.
Editing Requirements and Text
It is common for event templates to contain content with Requirements that have details which require editing by the project owner. Template Creators can change the text formatting to draw the project owner's attention to certain text within the content that needs their attention. The project owner can edit the content and make necessary changes:

Summary
- Content that is created in the Content tab of an event template will be inherited by all projects using this template.
- Common event content like introductions and how to get help should be embedded in the template content. Text colors and formatting can attract project owner attention for the details that need to be edited.
- Line items and lots are not added to templates but they can be stored in the Sourcing Library.
