It includes the Joule Web Client, a conversational user interface for connecting and interacting with Joule. It operates independently and is not part of the standard Joule AI copilot deployment. As a result, it does not offer the integration or optimization capabilities available in the Joule solution.
Responses are generated by accessing a Large Language Model (LLM) via the SAP AI Core service, without the extended backend infrastructure of the Joule AI copilot.
It is isolated and does not integrate with other SAP applications or systems.
The digital assistant is not included. Interactions and content are confined strictly to the SAP HANA Cloud context.
Role-based access feature is not supported
Future enhancements or new features introduced for the Joule AI copilot will not apply to the Joule with limited features in SAP HANA Cloud Central.

Gen AI in SAP HANA Cloud Central is available at no additional cost until July 2025, subject to usage limits and applicable terms. During this limited availability period, usage is restricted by token limit determined by the LLM variant and input/output type, with a daily usage limit of 0.5 Capacity Units (CU) per user.
After the limited availability period ends in July 2025, or if usage limits are reached, continued access to Gen AI requires a subscription to the commercial version.
