Introduction to Reporting

SAP SuccessFactors offers powerful reporting tools to help organizations track important analytics like absence and time account overviews.

Organizations can take advantage of both Standard Reports and Custom Reports. Reports are available in several popular formats like CSV, Excel, PDF, or PPT and can be exported.

Standard Reports

SAP SuccessFactors has four pre-delivered Time Off Standard Reports that are available in the Report Center:

  • Absence Overview: Provides an overview of absence days for each employee in a department within a specified period of time. The report consists of the following pages:
    • Page 1 – Absence Overview: Shows the accumulated number of absence days taken by each employee and time type in a certain period of time.
    • Page 2 – Absence Details: Lists each absence individually with details like start date, end date, time type, and approval status.
  • Absence Frequencies and Duration: Provides an overview of the absence days of each employee in a department within a specified period of time.
  • Time Account Overview: Provides an overview of the absence days and hours taken in a department in a certain period of time. You can also see a summary of the absences taken by each employee in the department. On the second page of the Time Account Overview per Employee, the employee's name is also available.
  • Time Account Snapshot: Provides an overview of the time accounts of employees for the selected dates. Additionally, the report provides details of these bookings.

Custom Reports with Advanced Reporting Designer

The Advanced Reporting Designer within Canvas Reports in Report Center allows users to query Time Off data – queries that can then be used to generate reports for distribution and analysis among analytical, HR-related, and managerial roles. Reports can be created to meet organizational reporting needs.
