SAP Joule for Developers provides AI assistance for design-time work, including capabilities such as code explanation and understanding,predictive code completion,unit test generation, and developer chat-style assistance in supported developer tools.
These capabilities target development productivity and do not represent runtime; end-user AI features outside of developer tooling.
Joule for Developers in ABAP Development
SAP Joule for Developers is designed to support ABAP Cloud development by providing context‑aware assistance directly within ABAP development tools. Joule understands the structure, language version, and development context of ABAP artifacts and uses this context to deliver relevant explanations, suggestions, and generated code.
Joule operates within the developer’s existing environment and does not introduce a separate development workflow. It enhances productivity by assisting with common development tasks while respecting the technical constraints and standards of ABAP Cloud.
Integration with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
