When discussing "plug and gain," the Value Accelerator Library serves as a key resource for you.

This figure illustrates how SAP Signavio Value Accelerators provide specialized content tailored to themes such as business objectives and processes, which can be integrated with SAP Signavio solutions to enhance various business processes.

Let’s briefly recap what a Value Accelerator is: By definition, Value Accelerators are sets of content that can be consumed or integrated with SAP Signavio Solutions. Value Accelerators are used to "fill" SAP Signavio products. So, the Signavio products are not delivered as empty shells but already have valuable "input":

This input might include, for example, a BPMN model illustrating SAP’s recommended approach to a process. Such a model can be imported into your workspace and subsequently edited by you or your team.

In the context of SAP Signavio Analysis products, Value Accelerators may consist of pre-configured dashboards, metrics with detailed descriptions, and filters. These Value Accelerators help you analyze your processes and assess their respective performance.

You may be wondering where to find all of these Value Accelerators. They are made available in the Value Accelerator Library, often referred to as "VAL."

The Library serves as the "go-to" destination for SAP Signavio customers and partners to access and consume all our Value Accelerators. It is embedded in the SAP Signavio Process Transformation Suite.

Within the Library, you will find Value Accelerators supporting process transformation, such as end-to-end business processes, SAP Best Practices packages for SAP S/4HANA, process flows, dashboards, metrics, and performance indicators. Additionally, there are Value Accelerators designed for enterprise architecture transformation, including business capability models and reference architectures.

As most organizations operate within a diverse system landscape—rather than a single, monolithic SAP system—process mining accelerators are available for both SAP and non-SAP systems, giving you a comprehensive view of your organization’s process performance. Value Accelerators displayed within the library are either authored by SAP or its partners that lead in their specific domains.
