Objective
After completing this lesson, you will be able to add an alert threshold in SAP Fieldglass.
Alert Thresholds are used to notify users of specific events before or when they occur.
When an alert threshold is met, a message is sent or displayed to the specified users when the related message is enabled. Brian, for example, may get a notice when a worker’s end date is approaching.
| 1 | To view the list of alert thresholds set up in in the tenant, select Thresholds - Alert from the Workflow section of the admin menu. |
The Threshold Alert page lists the tasks to which thresholds can be set. These thresholds can be edited, but new items cannot be added and existing items cannot be deleted.
| 2 | The Threshold column indicates the thresholds that are set for the respective items. These parameters can be edited. |
| 3 | Threshold Type indicates how the threshold is measured. Many can be toggled between hours or days. Others are set to measure a percentage. |
| 4 | Some Threshold Types can include a range of parameters. These will be listed in a table format in the Threshold column and indicate the five possible ranges that can be set. As indicated here, alerts will be posted at 5 days before, 3 days before, 2 days before, and on the date of event. These Threshold Type Range parameters can be edited as well. |
