Time Sheet Allotments are used to apply accounting amounts to time sheets for activities or items that fall outside of their regular work hours and/or duties but are not covered by the standard, overtime, and double time rates. These might include things such as housing, cost of living adjustments, daily allotments for meals and transportation as well as pension, insurance, and benefits.
Some Time Sheet Allotments are entered by the worker on the time sheet and some are applied without input from the worker.
For example, if workers are required to be on call for emergencies every other weekend, for those times when they were on call but were not required to work, they would document that time using a Time Sheet Allotment.
